The deck is shuffled by a spectator and then handed back to the magician, who spreads through it and takes out a card, the identity of which is kept secret from the spectators. The magician then proceeds to fold the card into quarters, with the back outermost and places it into the grip of a bulldog clip. He explains that the card is a prediction.
Now the deck is spread facedown and a spectator is asked to remove a card and sign it on the card's face. The card is returned to the deck and shuffled. The magician now draws attention to the card trapped in the bulldog clip. He places the deck to one side, picks up the clip, which has been in full view the whole time and removes the folded card from it, immediately handing it to the spectator. It is unfolded and seen to be the signed card!

The TV is a fun, surreal and wonderfully offbeat piece of magic with a visual premise everyone instantly understands.
A card is chosen, lost, and seemingly forgotten. You then introduce a mysterious little packet featuring an old-fashioned television set. At first, it looks innocent enough. But as the routine unfolds, the TV begins to behave in the strangest way.
The screen turns on. Static fills the picture. New channels appear.
It feels like the spectator's card has somehow been transmitted through the airwaves, hidden inside this strange little television. Then, the TV changes channel one final time and reveals an impossible message: the exact card the spectator chose.

But above all, Echo is not a book test... It's a series of book tests!
I have written twelve different books, covering various domains: Tarot, meditation, hypnosis, astrology, dreams, numerology, and so on. I will publish a new title each month, for one year.
It's up to you to choose the theme that is best for your performance. All versions allow you to do exactly the same effects but obviously the content of the book depends on the theme. The Echo Book Test is a project I kept secret for the last few years...
I use Echo when I want a personal impact; when I want an easy, foolproof book test; and when I want to involve the audience emotionally. But Echo is much more than a simple book test...
First of all, Echo is a normal book: anyone can read it without suspecting anything, in fact it's available on Amazon. In secret, Echo uses a classic principle by Larry Becker (which he allowed me to use in 2012), allowing several impressive effects. Finally, Echo is easy: zero sleight, zero memory, zero stooge, and the book fits in your pocket.
But above all, Echo is not a book test... It's a series of book tests!
I have written twelve different books, covering various domains: Tarot, meditation, hypnosis, astrology, dreams, numerology, and so on. I will publish a new title each month, for one year.
It's up to you to choose the theme that is best for your performance. All versions allow you to do exactly the same effects but obviously the content of the book depends on the theme. Each book functions alone, each book is different, and each book reads like a normal book introducing its subject as a self-help tool.
Each theme is perfect for starting a conversation with the participant. You can then read her mind in an impossible and deeply personal way, because all these books talk about people's favorite subject: themselves. Some spectators even asked me where they could buy the book, because they wanted to keep reading it!
